Benjamin Mark Andersen
Benjamin Mark Andersen grew up in Aalborg in Denmark and had always been gravitated towards sports and exercise. Shortly after achieving the black belt in taekwondo as a 16-year-old, he opened his eyes to triathlon.
He was drawn to it by the many people in his circle of friends who practiced this sport and quickly got attracted. The versatility and the large possibility for development that comes with dealing with three disciplines fascinated him. Benjamin improved outstandingly quickly on all parameters and discovered that he had potential in the sport.
He finished his first half ironman in 2013 in his home city Aalborg and started competing professionally in 2019.
Benjamin states that he still feels that he has great development potential and is looking forward to seeing how far his passion, as well as joy in the sport, can lead him up through the rankings.
