Ida Burrows

19 years old Ida Burrows, is a triathlete from Sweden who is a part of the Swedish National Team. Her goal is is to become the best in the world. Nothing less.

Ida started with triathlon in 2017 and intensified her training seriously in 2018. She qualified for the Swedish national team in 2018. Ida comes from a football background and only started triathlon because she stopped playing football as much as she had done in the past years. So, her mum suggested her to try out triathlon, because she thought that a lot of training would suit Ida's incredibly high energy level!

Right now, Ida lives in Norway where her coach is based and where she can be a part of a  good training environment with like-minded ambitious athletes. Ida is studying part-time online, but her main focus is on becoming the world's best in short distance triathlon.

Ida's goal for 2021 is to race in a World Cup race, go into the top 10 in the U23 European Championships, and top 15 in the U23 World Championships.
