Tobias Dahl Thomsen

Danish and local Tobias Dahl Thomsen from Lynge is an upcoming professional middle-distance triathlete and is going into 2021 as his first season as a professional.

Tobias’ first time competing against the elite was at the Danish Championship in Aalborg 2020 after having been struggling with injuries for almost 2 years. He finished as number 10th at the Danish Championship and together with his team KTK86 Elite they became the second-best team.

He started triathlon-training at the end of 2016 at Ganlose Tri-Center without any experience in the three sports, completed his first middle-distance in the Sommer of 2017, and became a more ingrained part of the team at the start of 2018. Sometimes in this period, the sport got to him and he has now been dedicated to the training and lifestyle since.

At the moment, he is studying full-time at Copenhagen Business School, almost done finishing his bachelor's in International Business. Afterward, he will take some time off studying and focusing more on triathlon.

Tobias’s big goal in 2021 is to make an impact in the professional field on the middle-distance (1.9km swim, 90km bike, 21.1km run) and is really looking forward to competing on the highest level.
