Tungesvik's Argon 18 E-119 Tri+ Disc Race & Training Setup

World Champion in Xtreme Triathlon, Hans Christian Tungesvik from Norway has finally got his hands on the new Argon 18 E-119 Tri+ Disc after months of waiting.

The E-119 Tri + Disc - our most aerodynamic tri-bike to date. The pinnacle bike in our triathlon lineup.

Developed for your next goal with integrated disc brakes, aero optimized tube shapes, improved storage, redesigned cockpit – a bike with obvious watt and aero advantages.

From E-118 to E-119

Tungesvik is coming from the E-119, but has in the past season been riding on the E-118 Tri+ Disc, on which he broke the Norwegian 200km TT record. A phenomenal performance by Tungesvik. And the very aerodynamic and UCI-approved E-118 got the job done to perfection. 200km in 4h 54m 16s (40,8 km/h in average speed). See the video from the record attempt here

In 2021, Tungesvik is aiming for long-distance triathlons. The big goal is IRONMAN Hawaii. This calls for a shift back on the E-119, which are specifically designed for these kinds of races. Hear Hans Christian’s first thoughts about the bike.
